Gd-bye little space!

Yup, I've finally said good bye to this little space of mine
and a big HI to my new workstation. Not a big space though..
Its the same tiny little space too. The only difference was.. its at a corner. hehehe..

And I didnt bring along my "twin tower" with me..
Still left behind on my old table where one of the part-timers will b sittin. hehehe..

I've got a total of 6 boxes under my table now and more to come!!
After the project is done.. half of it will be my rough papers!The rest, I'll probably wait for the karang-guni-man to come and take them away..

Baba's bday @tanjung rhu

After work, met hubby @TTSH where we went to visit our dearest Yai.
Zalie then picked us all up and we then headed down to Tanjung Rhu.

It was just a simple celebration for our beloved dad. Hope he enjoyed it..

2weeks ago, we called HDB to get someone to come down and take a look at the tiles.. not much damage actually.. just that hubby found many "empty" tiles. We could hear its differences when we stepped on those certain tiles.

Even the toilet/kitchen walls, we found some cracks here and there. But we only get the contactors to come and fix the floor only. As for the walls, they can still wait, I guess.

Before I left to Bishan that wkend, I helped hubby by clearing all the furnitures into our rooms, leaving the two heaviest cupboard for hubby.. hehehe.. And while clearing the things away.. I managed to kill 2 lizards! hahaha.. When hubby got home that day, he helped me to "dispose" the dead lizards! =D

The girls and I are forbidden to come home while work is in progress. And so, we didnt get to go back last wkend. Once everything finished.. its hubby's turn to do all the things by himself.. hehehe.. Thanks, B!!

Hmm.. If I knew its gonna take just a week plus to do it.. we would hv done before raya that time.. hehehe.. Well, I love the new tiles.. it looks much better now.. =)

Ladies night!

Everyone got their own plans todae.. left me, girls and mak at home.
And so, we ladies went out for dinner, we went Long John's Silver! Before heading home.. had our desserts next @McDonald's!

Their FIRST movie!

MADAGASCAR 2 was GREAT!!


Had always wanted to bring the girls to the movies but I was just afraid they might spoils everything. Well, you know how kids are.. I'm just afraid the girls would make a lot of noise or cries as the lights got turn off. I've alwez knew the girls are afraid of bein in the dark. Or if not, they might not keep still or even worst to run ard?! I dunno.. hehehe..

But Alhamdulillah..
things werent that bad like how I've imagined it to be..
They love it!!

Hmm.. but 15mins before the movie end..
Nadiah fell aslp but woke up as soon as the movie ended! hahaha..


Now, I wont hesitate for another movie with the girls.. *winks*

Our Saturday outing..

We got ready while waiting for hub to come and pick us up.
And we set off to.. Junction 8!
(I tot we would go watch movie sumwer far.. but no..
its just a few mins walk frm mum's.. hehehe..

We bought the 4.30pm show for Madagascar 2.
Aftr a short simple lunch, we brought the girls to "explore" Junction 8
including Top of the 8 but sorry, didnt really take not of wat's there..
but I did manage to snaps a few shots of the girls while we're there.

Another date todae..

I've got a date todae with dearest hubby!
Yey!! hahaha

He picked me up after work and had dinner at Banquet.
Then we from Bugis Village to Sim Lim Square and then back to
Bugis Junction before we finally took the same train back to our home.

Nope, not to the same home.. I dropped off first at Bishan while
he continues till Yio Chu Kang and then took the bus back to Sengkang.
It was just like old days.. we have to go back to our respective hse then. hehehe

If only the girls and I get to go back home this week
but too bad our floor renovation is still not done yet..
Hmm.. I guess, we've to wait till end mth till all are done..
(I'll update more on this "reno" in my up-coming entry, ok?)

Well, we'll b goin on a date again tmr.. but this time with the kids as well.. hehehe..
Hubby said, if there's no where to go.. We'll probably go watch movie instead..

Watching the girls playing together, reminds me of the good old times I had during my childhood days where we played "masak-masak", "kawin-kawin" etc.. *giggles*
It was funny but still fun!! hehehe

I dunno wat the girls are playing back then.. but frm wat I see..
it looks as though they've gone shopping!! hahaha..

We had planned to have sushi for dinner.

And had decided to go Ramen Ten @Harbourfront.
But luck wasn't on our side that day.

First we were caught in a long traffic jam at the entrance car-park to Harbourfront.
And then, the security told us to park at the next building instead
coz the car park was FULL due to a wedding function..

And we assume that this is not the best plc, it might be too crowded too esp for mum who's got difficulty walking, be it in crowded or non-crowded places. Walking just a few distance also may cause trouble for her. And as not to waste any time, we then decide to go the one
at Century Square, Tampines instead.

The foods were simply delicious and I admit for some, its hot and spicy.
I tot I can handle it but no.. I cant!

But well, it wasnt my choice in the first place..
Mine was better. U agree, Zalie? hehehe



Didnt get to snap more pics as we're all busy enjoyin the foods.. hehehe

And at the end of the day.. we have this man to thanks to..

Tragedy October..

I received my 4th cheque last Fri. Alhamdulillah..

I've always been looking forward for mth end..
cos I can go shopping! hehehe..

I had planned to get few tops after work that day..
But my joy stopped after lunch..

Hubby called saying..

"Ma, I'm in DEEP TROUBLE!! I've lost my wallet!!
Besides losing my IC, driving licence,
my ATM cards.. all my money GONE!!"

I asked how much was inside and I got shocked..



"Altogether $800!!"
*arrggghhh*

How can this happen?!

He said, he might have dropped his wallet when he tried to reach out for his ez-link
in his pocket. He didn't want to miss his bus so he ran while reaching out for the card.
But too bad, luck wasn't on his side.. he gets his bus but lost his wallet instead.

I was mad with him for having so much money in the wallet which he can actually keep it in the bank but he said, he wanted to use the money to make payments for some necessities the next day. Nvm, mebe he have his reasons for not keeping his money in the bank..

I guess.. our budgets gonna go haywire this month!!

Woke up early morning and prepared all the ingredients needed.
Spent almost half my day in the kitchen.

Someone was pretty mad with me cos I told her I cant prepare the food on time. But hey.. I'm doin the work all alone here. You shd hv told me beforehand of the collection time so at least, I could prepare them much much earlier.

Though a lil late, I still prepare the food for them. I tried my very best to speed up. Packed the food up nicely and askd Zalie to collect them. The rest is up to them, to eat or not to. Hmm..

My cooker is small.. so, I had to make a second set of rice for my own cos the first one I made, is only enuf for 5 pkts for Zalie to bring home. Hehee.. And poor hubby fell aslp while waiting.. * aww.. kesian dia *

But not to worry, he's had his plateful of :

Despite having a bad flu.. he still do this for both me & Nadiah.
Before we could even ask Nadhirah, she told us, "Kakak dont want!!" hehehe

But the result doesnt look too good so he have to re-do it all over again..

Hubby's cousins came for Raya visit.

Not knowing of what to cook.
I decided to make this instead..








Singapore Laksa!!

Last Wednesday, mum made laksa too but I miss the chance of having it..
Reason, hubby "kidnapped" the girls & I that night back to Sengkang. hehehe..

The girls enjoyed their bowl of laksa too. hehehe..
They ate the laksa mee w/o gravy cos the gravy was a lil hot & spicy
but they askd for more fishcakes+prawns in their second serving!! *lol*

I need a break!

About three weeks ago, I remembered taking pictures of my work-station..

And this is one of the picture taken..







So neat and tidy, isn't it?! hehehe..

Then a week later, our dept got 3 part-timers to help us with our new project. I was appointed as Kak Shida's P.A to help her supervise the 3 ladies apart from the daily work she had given me. Mostly all requires first priorities. *sigh*

Since then, I've got myself busier and busier each passing days with loads of work on my station. And I dare not even take any MC that week though I was not well. Am afraid, the work will pile up even more if I'm away. Alhamdulillah, bein sick doesnt affect me much while at work.

And 2 weeks had passed.. this is wat my station looks like now..












These are done by the three part-timers.
Its hand-written, mind you!

This is just half of it. The other half I've had it checked, verified and had it submitted.
Well, there's more to come for the next few weeks or maybe the next few mths..

A mini concert

Our dates

After work, we had a double date to Vivo City.
While waiting for Azmi, we cam-whored.. hehehe..

HINDI DOLLS!

We woke up as early as 6am.. even the girls woke up that early. hehehe.. Why? Because, hubby wanted to send me to work! Hehehe.. Yeah, he's pampering me!! =D

We first had our breakfast @McDonalds, Bugis Junction.
Breakfast was yummy!!

*hubby, next tym.. get me a happy meal too, ok? hahaha*

Upon reaching The Plaza, I kissed my three loves. Nadiah grabbed me and holds on tight, doesnt want to let go. *sigh* I knew once I'm out of sight, she'll be ok. Quickly get off the car and walk straight to the main entrance.. Waved to them again frm far. I can see the sad look on Nadiah's face.

I checkd on her once I reached the office. Hubby said, she's ok. I knew it.. its just for that moment only.. hehehe.. And an hour later.. received MMS frm hubby.. with a quote..
"Mama.. we go jalan2!" I was like.. wahhh.. and w/o ME?! Not fair!! hahaha

I asked.. "Gi ane?"
Kakak.. "Tgk aeroplanes, mama!"

Hubby had brought them to the salon before sendin them home to mum's.

Not a full new hair-cut but just the fringes..

While waiting for the show to start @9.30pm, we continued roaming around
though I've got blisters on my toes!! hehehe..

I didnt even tell hubby abt it cos I doesnt want it to spoil our date!
So, all I have to do is to bear with all the pain.. hahaha

Another day of visitin again..
Yes, its Monday and I am workin todae..

After work, rushed home.. got all the things readi and left home by 8pm..
And we went AMK, so not so bad. And wat's best.. the houses we're goin to visit is just one area or to be exact theres a 3-in-ONE block! hehehe..

In just that few hours, we managed to go to 4 houses and
I was so sleepy that I dozed off at the last house! hehehe..

Though its a Saturday, I spent half the day at home,
watchin tv, surf the net, uploadin pics on multiply etc.
Why?! Because hubby is workin and the rest are still resting at home
probably tired after visitin the Pusara Aman/Abadi in the mornin. 

The girls and I were getting ready while waiting for hubby to get back frm work.
And as soon as we're done.. Cik Nini's group came over and we got stuck for a while
before we could join mak and the rest to go visiting..
