The TUBE is OUT!!

Hubby wen dwn visit Dhirah durin lunch. He told me Dhirah's jaundice had decrease to 226 but her suckin still weak. Haizz.. He den said dat dey'll b sendin her 2 therapy session. Therapy?! Will it works? Can it improve her suckin? Nvm.. we jz wait n see..

S usual, in d evenin aftr hubby came back frm wrk.. he'll accompany me go visit Dhirah. Dis tym durin her feeding, we tried 2 feed her w/o usin d feeding tube.. Guess wat?! She took off d tube hersef! SO CLEVER!! Hehee..



At 1st, went we came.. D tube was still intact in her mouth but aftr we came back frm dinner, noticed d tube was OUT!! Calld d nurse n she suggested feeding her usin bottle. Yupz she drinks but not much. Its a progress at least. Slowly she'll improve. I hv my confidence in her.

Well.. Nw Yr is jz round d corner.. nw its oredi 11.50pm!

I received a call frm Peter Pan Studio. Dey said Dhirah's pics wic was taken on her first day are ready and dey'll b comin 2 send it over.

I was waitin patiently for d package to arrive. Once d man had sent ovr d pics. Me eagerly open up d package. She luks so cute. Der's wallet size pics 4 everyone in d family. Dey r all hepi 2 get her pic. Well, I'v got 2 find a nice frame 4 her 8R pic 2 b hang in our rm.. Hehee..

Ltr dat evenin, went dwn KKH again 2 visit Dhirah.. Was told by d nurse dat her jaundice drop a lil but its still ard 240+ n her suckin still weak.

My confinement starts today. I only took 3sessions..
I hate drinkin 'ubat periuk'! YUCKS!! Hehee..
But I dun mind d 'param' & 'pilis' but 'ubat periuk'.. I jz cn stand it.. Hehee..

Hubby took d breast milk I had pumpd out 4 my lil Nadhirah. He went ovr wif mak & baba. I cun go visit her sinz I'v got my 'pilis' on d head. So stayd hm wif Zali.Ltr dat evenin, once hubby back frm wrk, went visit Nadhirah. Askd d nurse on her jaundice. Den she said d jaundice had decrease but its still high 4 her. And her suckin msh poor lgi. D nurse let me carry Dhirah n she brought me 2 a plc wer I can breastfeed her. She taught me hw 2 breastfeed. I tried feedin Nadhirah but she still rejectin it. So d nurse askd me 2 pumpd out my milk. She said dey'll try feedin her tru bottle but if she still dun wna drink den gotta use tube again.

Special Care Nursery(SCN)

Had my breakfast.. I was told I'll b discharge todae but not Nadhirah. WHY?? Because she had jaundice n its rather high 4 1day baby. *sobb*

I felt so dissappointed s I packd my bag. B4 headin hm, went visit her at d nursery. D babysitter told me Nadhirah doesnt want to drink her milk. Mebe she lost her appetite due to dis jaundice. Mebe, hu knws.. D babysitter said again if Nadhirah's jaundice cont to rise up n she still doesnt wna drink.. She'll b transfer to Special Care Nursery(SCN). B4 headin hm, went over to d Birth Registration counter have Nadhirah's birth cert done.

Dat aftrnoon.. we went visit her. Nadhirah was put under phototherapy n she'll b put undr observation 4 fw days 2 cek on her jaundice's progress. S 4 her drinkin prob, doc says her suckin rather poor so dey'r insertin a feedin tube into her mouth. Gosh.. all I can do is pray hard 4 her recovery! My prayers r wif u Nadhirah dearie.. Mama luvz you!! Muackkss *sobb*

It was early in d mornin ard 4am wen I suddenly realised my pants are wet!!
Tot I wet myself but tink again..

Why shd I b wet my bed for?!! Duh!!
So dats wen I told mysef, it myt b d waterbag?

WATERBAG??!

I remain cool.. went to d toilet to clean mysef.. Slowly woke hubby up n informd him of d latest update. He's shockd but askd me to let mum knw abt it. C wat she says abt it. Mum askd if its 4 real coz ders so many false alarm goin on 4 d past days. Hehehee..

Mum told me to wait a while, c if ders any more water drippin. S I was abt to climb back to my bed lyk d past nites, I cud feel d water burstin frm below.. Woww!! And yes indeed, its 4 real dis tym!! Hahaa..

Got redi, while hubby calld 4 cab. I was reali suprised dat its alredy tym 4 me to deliver coz throughout d nite, ders no pain, no contractions n d waterbag jz burst suddenly. But in d cab, I cud feel d pain oredi n my back startin to hurt. Still cud bear wif it doe.

Once @KKH, I was being wheel chaired 2 d delivery suite. Dey brought me to 1 of d rms available. While I'm gettin mysef comfortable in der, hubby went up & down to settle some documents. Aftr a while, doc checkd on me. He said my cervix has open up 4cm.
Lots of questions popping on my mind.

"Hw big was 4cm? Till hw many den its reli tym 4 pushing? At dat tym, I reli wonder.. Hw long will I b in pain? 10hrs? more den 20hrs?"

Gosh.. Cun imagine I'm goin tru all dis.. I kept lukin at d clock.. doin my countin!! Hehee.. Slowly d contractions gettin unbearable esp aftr 0600hrs. Wen d midwife notis me bein uncomfy, she askd if I nid any epidural and hubby was d one who replied confidently, "NO.. SHE DONT NEED IT!!" Hehehe..

So she suggested me use d gas mask. At d same tym, I read all d DOAs I can tink of.. Ders tym wen I cun bear d pain. So, calld 4 hubby. Told him dat I'm in pain. Hubby panic jgk so he calld 4 d midwife again n again 2 c hw I'm doin. Der's once, d midwife cekd on my cervix n said dat its oredi open up to 8cm. Huh?? 8cm oredi but still not tym 4 deliver?! Sux..

hw long more must I wait?!
Ggrrrrr..

Once, I felt s if I wna past motion reli bad.. Hubby told d midwife but she said its normal at dis stage. Aiyyoo.. wat m I to do? I reali feel lyk shittin.. Gosh!! My back hurts a lot.. d contraction's unbearable.. Ders no words to describe siah.. Arrghhh..

I cun help tellin hubby off once. Guess, he's bein cool w/o yellin at me back. Hehehe.. D mask is no use 4 me oredi.. I wonder y, is it bcoz I din use it properly or is it bcoz d pain was totally unbearable.. Den I begd hubby, yeah begd hubby to call 4 d nurse. D pain was so damn hurt..

B4 hubby cud jz do dat, d midwife came in n checkd on me. Den heard she said..
"OK, ITS TIME!!"

Alhamdulillah.. my prayers r answered. At 1st, I cud not push my baby, I was struggling.. I failed my pushin stage n lucky d midwife taught me how 2. I cont pushin till I heard hubby said she cud oredi c d bb's head. I tried fw more push but bb still dun wna cum out.

I began to panic wen midwife told me bb's heartbeat was low and
she suggested I shd give a very BIG push!!
So, I tried..

Syukur Alhamdulillah, its finally ovr.
@0857hrs, I'v safely given birth to a cute lil princess..

Nur Nadhirah Natasha, dats d name both hubby & I gave her. Nur(cahaya) Nadhirah(yg b'seri, yg segar) Natasha(Hmm.. bn finding but not found.. hehehe) But definately hubby's in love wif d name Natasha.. I wonder why.. *scratch head* =)

Dhirah.. she's so adorable. She's got 2 sweet dimples. Luv d way she luk at us esp wen she smiled. She reli brighten up my day. Glad 2 hv her wif me nw.. She reli completes my life..

Wow.. still cun believe dat I'm a mum nw. And wat's unbelievable was.. I went tru d whole delivery smoothly doe der was a lil panicked once a while. Hehee.. Aftr goin tru d delivery. I den realise hw mak bring me 2 dis world. She had gone tru a lot of hardships esp during labour.

Aftr we are done wif our shoppin, we had dinner @Burger King. Yummy!!

Back hm, we unpackd our tings and hubby took out d d playpen frm d store rm.
He said, "Sape la tau, esk2 bdk nie da kluar, jdi tak kelam kabut kita d buat nye.."

Hmm.. I do agree wif him. We'll nvr knw..
As hubby eagerly fixing d playpen.
Here I m, in front of dis pc, doin my own stuff. Hehehe..

Hubby & I was a bit upset coz my EDD is on 29th Dec.
Doc suggest we come for my last appt dis comin 27th Dec.

Last nyt, I cant slp well. Izit b'coz I'm too excited he's coming hm todae?!

Well, its bn 8days I spent my time w/o hubby by my side.

Was talkin wif baba and mak in their room wen I heard sumone's tryin to open d main door. I went out quietly knowin it was hubby who came hm. Sneaked up on him as he's bz takin off his shoes. Act, he wanted to surprise me but he got d surprised instead.

I didnt get to take his pics on his first day to camp but todae,

Hubby calld us last min yest, he askd if we could cook a meal for 20pax. Reason was bcoz d canteen are not providin food for dem on weekends.

Mak said "ok", so we'll doin it. We got up early mornin.
Went market to buy d necessary ingredients for d no of dishes.

Wat did we cook for them?
Well, here's d menu:

1) Ayam masak kicap
2) Kentang goreng
3) Sambal goreng
4) Sambal telur

and of cos, all these came with plain rice. hehehe..

Back hm, started cookin.. took us fw hrs to fnis preparin all d dishes. Once we'r done wif all d packings, calld hubby to inform him d food's ready. Hubby came hm wif a fren, pickd up d foods n went off again.. back to his camp!

Gosh.. hw I miss him.. Lucky I gotto see his face for a short while.. Nvm.. No wori, he'll b back soon.. I shall wait! Wow.. Pretty tired aftr a hard day of cookin. Bet mak & baba are tired too.
