5th April
I went 4 my checkup @KKH. Back hm, hubby & I discussed if supposing d doc wna admit me today, dun go for it. Tell dem, we'll juz wait the time 2 come naturally. But tings went differently wen we'r in d doc's rm.
Doc sent me for scannin to check on baby's estimated weight. 1wk ago, baby was ard 3.4kg but todae it weighs 3.7kg and due to dat, doc gotta admit me todae. She's juz afraid baby may grow even bigger. She even said, she may get me induced to make d delivery process faster and ders no possibility for normal delivery, den its gonna b a caesarian. Gosh.. dat made me cried!!
I calld several pple askin for opinions n most of dem advised me to get admitted. Its best for both mum & baby, dey said. Aftr much consideration, I agreed. Aftr we'r done wif d paperwrks, a nurse brought me to my bed n hubby left hm to bring all my stuffs. Most important was Nadhirah. I dunno why but I kinda miss her so much.
Ltr that aftrnoon.. hubby arrived with both my parents and lil Nadhirah. Tried huggin her but she pushed me aside. This happen for few times. Maybe she knew that she's gonna hv a baby sister soon.
Den, its tym 2 proceed 2 labour ward. Hubby & I went down together holdin hands. HE assured me evrytins gonna b fine. Once der, make mysef comfy on d bed. Doc arrived and checkd my cervix n said its hardly 1cm open. I was duhh.. I tot earlier d doc said its oredi 2cm n nw its hardly even open 1cm?! Hmm..
Waited again.. hubby was by my side most time unless he has to go for a smoke. Ard 7.45pm, doc insert d tablet in me. Dey said dey'll kip track 4 2hrs. If dey aint any contractions or any signs.. dey'll send me back 2 d ward. And tru enuf, I was sent back to d ward n poor hubby gotta to leave.

I was havin my rest at abt 12.00am wen a nurse came in n said she wna cek my baby's heartbeat n keepin track of my contractions. She den left me 4 haf hr and wen she's back, d 1st qns she askd me was..
Nurse: "R u in pain?"
Me: "No.. not reli"
Nurse: "Huh.. no ar? But ur contractions evry 2mins u knw.. I tink I betta send u back 2 d labour ward. I scared u giv birth here leh.."
I was shockd n tak t'kta pape. She den askd me, u wna go dwn? I told her, 4 nw, no pain yet, mebe ltr ar. She said ok but if I'm in pain, press d call bell n she'll askd sumone 2 send me ovr 2 labour ward. I den calld hubby. He's alredi aslp. Kcian seh. I bilang dia, u jz get ursef prepared la coz I myt nid him anytym frm nw. Hubby kta ok, klau once me da tranfer dwn, call him.
Abt 1.30am, I suddenly felt dat my back startin 2 hurts. Mebe its tru, its oredi tym. So I pressd d call bell n soon aftr dat, sumone brought me 2 d labour ward. Got mysef comfy lyin on d bed again den I calld hubby.
While waitin 4 him 2 come ovr, I jz ly der doin nutin. Den came in d nurse n d doc. Dey checkd on my cervix n its oredi 3cm open. Doc askd if I'm redi to burst my waterbag. I said yes. Once its burst.. I panickd. Hahaa..
Hubby arrived shortly aftr dey broke my waterbag. Frm den on, he stayed by my side. Din even leave me 4 a while. Mcm dlu, kjp2 dia kuar trun bwh coz tak tahan dgn sejuk. But nw, dia da pndai. Dia pkai jacket n stokin. Haha..
Den d contraction starts scarin me. Sakit.. Esp my back, it hurts lyk.. ders no words to describe it. Sori. And suddenly, dis came across my mind. EPIDURAL!! Yeah.. I took dat.. Aftr takin epidural, it doesnt hurt much as b4 takin it n w/o realisin hw tym flies, my cervix had open 5cm.
Aftr a while.. I suddenly felt a sharp pain at my back. I was tinkin, is d epidural wrkin or not? It is so wasted if it reli doesnt help me. I calld out 4 d doc hu gav me d epidural n askd him y I'm still in pain doe I'v taken d epidural. He askd me several qns regardin my pain n heard him intructin d midwife to check my cervix. Guess wat? Yes, its TIME!! I was shoockd mysef too coz it seems so fast.
I put awy d gas mask n concentrate on my breathin but I kinda find it difficult coz sakit nye aduii.. takle tahan!! Doc askd me if I feel lyk sumtin's comin out, giv it a very BIG push. 1st tym, I failed 2 do it n almost giv up. I even told hubby dat. Hubby gav me his words of encouragement lyk sayin, if tym deliver Dhirah I can do it. Sure I can do it dis tym round too.. Den I tried again 4 d second tym.. pun sma jgk. Gav mysef another chance. Dis tym round, d midwife get another nurse 2 help out. She helpd me pulld back my legs sinz I cant do it mysef.
Finally.. baby's out @0537hrs. Hubby knfm wif me dat I'v got another gal. Dhirah's got a lil sister n dia da jdi kakak nw. Alhamdulillah.. Smua nye slmt. I was told she weighs 3516g n 50cm tall.. Lbeh berat dari Dhirah n lbeh tggi dari Dhirah n ges wat.. She's much fairer den Dhirah!! hehehe..

Had my rest.. I was pretty tired. Seriusly, dis tym round.. I mcm lmbik skit.
At both visitin hrs.. Dhirah came dwn wif mak & others. She still doesnt want to talk/kiss/hug me. But I notis she loves her baby sister. So sweet of her kissin Nadiah's red cheeks.
Nadiah looks like chinese seh. Lan was disturbin me.. "in ur delivery suite, der aint any chinese lady givin birth right?" hahaha.. veri funny right. Is der still a kes of swopping babies todae?
